Out in Tech Dallas-Forth Worth | Community & Conversation

March 22 @ 12:00 am - 1:30 am

Join us for readings, prompts, and meaningful conversations for Women’s History Month!

Join us for Community & Conversation night at Whose Book’s on March 21st! We will facilitate passages from books by pioneering women authors in tech and adjacent fields. After each reading, engage in thought-provoking discussions prompted by questions that inspire connection and reflection.

Let’s come together to learn, build a network that empowers and inspires, and amplify the voices and stories of women shaping the future in tech and other fields.

Books we will have excerpts from (Books will also be available on hand to purchase on a donation basis):

  • Brotopia: Breaking Up the Boys’ Club of Silicon Valley By Emily Chang
  • Information Activism: A Queer History of Lesbian Media Technologies (Sign, Storage, Transmission) by Cait McKinney
  • TBD

Note: Ticket availability will be prioritized for those identifying as Women, QTBIPOC and Gender Nonconforming. Given limited space, reserve your ticket early.
